Are we all Harry Potter fans?
Hey, I completely forgot until I saw Kim's pick that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be out in July (the 21st, I believe). We could continue with our normal schedule, but we could have a "special extra" meeting to discuss this last HP book? What does everyone think?

I'm fine with reading Harry Potter - I guess I qualify as a fan since I've read 4 or 5 so far. (I can never remember which book I'm on - Stacey Strange has always loaned me a copy to read in preparation for the movies as they have come out...)
I don't mind just leaving it on the bookshelf either. Until someone picks it. Maybe we can talk about it at our next meeting.

I've read all of the previous Harry Potter books and will read this one. I'll probably wait to read it till we do as a club. Dale, if you meant we could read 2 books in July or August with Harry being one of them - I might be ablet o do that, but I hesitate to say that for sure since I didn't do such a great job of reading the last book on time.
When does the next movie come out? Maybe we could have a book club outing to see the latest movie in the theater. (I know it's not the same installment as the book we'd be reading, but it still might be fun...)
I believe Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (the movie) comes out sometime the beginning of July.
I'm pretty sure I will be reading the new book right after it comes out. But I won't tell anyone what happens! It's OK if we wait until someone picks it to talk about it as a group.

Dale, I am the one who requested to add Harry Potter to the list.
All, the movie comes out 7-13 and the book comes out 7-21.
I would love to go see it!
